Exercises To Help Relieve Cubital Tunnel Syndrome

There are many conventional ways that patients suffering from cubital tunnel syndrome approach in order to feel better from the pain. There are also many exercises that are recommended that have helped many individuals dealing with this syndrome.
There are a couple of exercises mentioned below that help relieve pressure off the ulnar nerve, however, they should be performed after consulting an orthopedic first.
- Flexion of the Elbow and Extension of the Wrist
All you need to do is stand straight, extend your arm by placing the palm on the upper side, and then bend your elbow. One can repeat this slowly four to five times.
- Head tilt
This exercise is very simple and all you need to do is sit comfortably in a chair and bend your head to one side with your arm extended, with the palm facing up. This can be done four to five times every day.
- Flexion of the arm in front of the body
This exercise can be performed while sitting as one can stretch their arms in front of them and open their fingers, and then bend the elbows in the same way. This helps decrease the compression by making room for the ulnar nerve. This can be done at least ten times during the day.
