4. Cloudy or smelly urine
Healthy urine is clear, with urochrome or has a slightly yellowish color. It does not have a strong odor or smell. In the case of kidney, a cloudy or smelly urine show an indication that there is an infection in the kidney or some other part of the urinary tract system.
Studies reported that about 8% of people with severe kidney stones possess a urinary tract infection (due to radiating kidney stones). The cloudiness in the urine also shows the presence of pus or dead cells in the urine and the smell formation is due to the pathogens or bacteria that caused the urinary tract infection. Concentrated urine has also an odor due to the high amount of other substances.
