Use Nuts as a Snack Alternative

Instead of eating processed chips and other unhealthy snacks, opt for a variety of nuts. You have at your disposal peanuts, almonds, and other nuts. Remember that we’re avoiding processed foods, and sometimes they’re sold in candied preparations containing more sugar and chemicals than actual nutrients. Look for natural sources instead, and ensure they do not have added sugars.

You could eat a quarter cup of mixed nuts every afternoon after lunch. If you combine them with chopped fruit, you will have a healthy snack to give you energy and continue working. Like fish, walnuts are high in healthy fatty oils. But remember that they can also increase your calorie intake too much. Thus, it is recommended to consume them frequently but in moderation.
