Reevaluate your Relationship with Vegetables

It is possible that your relationship with vegetables is not the very best. In many of us, the reason dates back to when we were little. Some children develop an aversion to eating them. Veggies were presented to us as a penance after eating what we liked, which stayed in our unconscious programming. Thus, it will be very positive to reevaluate your relationship with them since they are an essential part of the Mediterranean diet.

As part of this diet, you should consume between 7 and 10 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Therefore, before finishing each meal, ask yourself what vegetables it has, if any. It is a good start, and then you can consider when it’s convenient to prepare an extra portion of salad. You can also eat meats with chopped vegetables or maybe add spinach to your eggs in an omelet.
