Hemodialysis

Hemodialysis is the most common management of chronic kidney disease. It is usually performed in the medical center, but hemodialysis may also be performed in the patient’s home. The patient’s bloodstream is connected to a machine that cleans the blood and serves a similar function to the kidneys, taking out waste substances.
