2. Dermatitis

Eczema, often known as dermatitis, is a series of inflammatory skin disorders. These disorders usually result in red, itchy patches of skin where there has been inflammation.
The most common forms of dermatitis are:
- Contact dermatitis is a type of skin illness that develops when the skin comes into direct touch with an irritant or allergen that causes an itchy rash.
- Atopic dermatitis affects the skin. This is a long-standing form of dermatitis that commonly affects youngsters and atopic eczema.
- Seborrheic dermatitis is a type of seborrheic dermatitis. This is another long-term dermatitis that primarily affects the scalp and other regions of the body with numerous oil glands, such as the face and chest. It’s also known as dandruff, and it’s referred to as cradle cap in babies.
Dermatitis, or inflammation of the skin, can have various causes and types. While there is no single cure for dermatitis, treatments focus on managing symptoms, reducing inflammation, and preventing flare-ups.
