You can always buy nuts at a reasonable price and eat them as snacks, and they can be used for a wide range of purposes in cooking. Zinc is 1.5 mg per cup in nuts, but it will depend on the type you choose. We recommend peanuts. Just make sure that they are not sweetened in any way.
Processed peanuts are not recommended because they have a very high-calorie content and reduce the nutrient density. Instead, you can look for raw peanuts, which you can roast before eating.
