6) Contributes to Detoxification

There are many concepts of detoxification or detox, and some people mistake detox for weight loss. But the type of detox that provides parsley is a proper cleansing of the blood. Parsley takes the main components of the blood and renews them. For example, it helps the body create more red blood cells, in part because it has iron as one of its primary minerals.

Parsley also contributes to another cellular component of the blood we all know as platelets. The problem with platelets in the blood comes when they start forming blood clots out of nothing. Parsley solves this problem through its anti-platelet activity and may reduce the incidence of stroke and heart attacks.

So, you can say that parsley quite literally cleanses and purifies your blood by renewing its cells and making them work even better than before. It would simultaneously work on your heart, protecting the organ against various cardiac conditions.
