The 4 Stages of the Atkins Diet for Weight Loss

4 Stages of the Atkins Diet

Stage 2: Balancing

After the two-week induction phase, the second stage of the Atkins diet begins. This stage is called the balancing phase, and it lasts until you are within 10 pounds of your target weight. The goal of this stage is to find the critical carbohydrate level for losing weight.
