3) Pale Stools
This symptom is also associated with the circulation of bile acids. Usually, bile acids are drained into the intestines right after eating. The intense color in bilirubin is partly responsible for the tone of the feces. When cholangiocarcinoma tumors grow and block the normal flow of bile, the stools lose the natural taint given by bilirubin. This is why patients with gallbladder stones find pale stools, and it is the same reason why cholangiocarcinoma leads to the same symptom.
