16) Blackstrap Molasses

Blackstrap molasses is a liquid removed from sugar cane and sugar beet juice. These are both used as raw materials to produce sugar. But unlike refined sugar, it is very rich in minerals. The taste is not as sweet as sugar, and it looks brown or black, but the nutritional benefits are worth it.
