Symptoms

The common symptoms that occur with cubital tunnel syndrome include:

  • Pain at the region of compression (the cubital tunnel).
  • Weakness in muscles of the hand, it gets difficult to make a proper fist.
  • Feeling of numbness in the areas being supplied by the ulnar nerve, i.e., half of the ring and the little finger.
  • Pain along the region of the ulnar nerve, including the forearm and the palm.
  • Difficulty picking objects and writing properly.
  • Long-standing cubital tunnel syndrome can also lead to muscle loss in the palmar region of the hand.
