21) Kale Chips

This recipe probably doesn’t look very appealing at first, and it may take some convincing. But once your children dare to give it a bite, they will probably love it. Kale chips are crunchy as potato chips, but you get micronutrients and phytochemicals instead of carbohydrates.
The preparation is very fast. You only need to take the kale and toss olive oil and salt. Put them into the oven for only 10 minutes or until crisp. Then, you can season with parmesan cheese. Alternatively, you could also use ground garlic, but not much.
Conclusion:
You can always make it easier for kids to get a taste of healthy ingredients such as fruits and vegetables. All you need is some creativity. Remember that sometimes you won’t achieve a perfectly healthy diet. So, if you’re trying to replace unhealthy foods for them, don’t be so restrictive. They could start enjoying the taste of real food if you combine it with something they are used to.
