15) Scallops

Scallops

This type of tender shellfish has a tasty flavor and a soft texture that many people like. It is one of the most commonly consumed seafood in the United States, a mollusk similar to oysters, clams, snails, and mussels. It is high in protein, low in fatty acids, and high in zinc, selenium, copper, and B vitamins. Be careful, though, because scallops contain more sodium than other seafood picks.

100 grams of scallops contain 20 grams of protein. This is a lean protein with only 1 gram of fat and only around 6 grams of carbohydrates. So, don’t overdo with scallops if you’re following a ketogenic diet.
