1) Plantar Warts

To prevent plantar warts caused by human papillomavirus HPV, wear proper shoes and sandals avoid using public showers and swimming pools without adequate protection.

2) Common Warts

Common warts are difficult to prevent. The human papillomavirus HPV causes common warts. To prevent and stop the spread of HPV and warts, you shouldn’t touch warts and avoid adjoining surfaces infected with HPV.

3) Genital Warts

Human papillomavirus infection can cause lesions in the genital areas. You can stop genital warts by:

  • Reduce the number of sex partners.
  • Use latex-based condoms that can reduce your risk of transmission of HPV.
  • Keep yourself to mutually monogamous sexual interaction.
