5. Medications

It is always a good idea to keep around over-the-counter medicines if you suffer from joint pain. Most of them are helpful for knee pain and will allow you to continue your daily activities. Ibuprofen and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs can be useful in such cases.
If you’re not sure about how to use these medications, talk to your doctor about it. They could also recommend more potent prescription drugs when over-the-counter medications are insufficient.
