2) Bruising

Because the microdermabrasion catheter creates a vacuum on the skin, bruising is possible, especially around the eyes and other thin-skinned areas. Although it is impossible to eliminate bruising entirely, it is uncommon, especially if your technician is skilled. However, bruising is more common if your skin is particularly thin or delicate or if you’re taking certain medications. And some folks are just more prone to bruises than others. If any of these apply to you, let your technician know so she can take measures during your treatment.
