THE PROCEDURE

A dermatologist uses a handheld instrument to delicately remove the topmost layer of skin during a microdermabrasion treatment.
Procedures are divided into two categories. The device releases small exfoliating crystals over the skin, while vacuum equipment suctions the crystals, along with the dead or decompressed skin, back into the machine.
The practitioner gently exfoliates your skin with a diamond-tip wand in the other sort of therapy. Each therapy is 30 to 45 minutes long. As the process eliminates the outermost skin cells, you may experience a moderate scratching or “sanding” feeling.
You will be urged to apply sunscreen after the operation because your skin will be more delicate and sensitive to the sun.
