5. Radiofrequency Ablation & Hyperthermia

Radiofrequency ablation is a painless and safe method for the treatment of plantar warts. It may cause less tissue necrosis. The success rate of the radiofrequency ablation method is 54%, with a 10.8% rate of reoccurrence of plantar warts.
Hyperthermia uses hot water and exothermic patches. It is a third-line treatment. There is no proven effectiveness of hyperthermia. It is a cost-effective treatment, and it can be self-administrated.
