6. CO2 Laser Treatment

The CO2 laser treatment method is a third-line treatment, but it is expensive. It may cause non-selective tissue damage and debunking of warts. It is used for the treatment of reluctant plantar warts in immunocompromised patients.
Disadvantages:
- Formation of scars and bleeding
- Pain after the treatment
- Discoloration of the tissue
- Need prolonged healing time
- The cure rate of use of CO2 lasers for the treatment of plantar warts is 64%-71%.
