Prostate cancer symptoms

4. Bloody Urine

Unlike weak urine flow and urgency to urinate, anyone experiencing urinary symptoms, particularly those previously diagnosed with an enlarged prostate, should take bloody urine seriously. While not always indicative of prostate cancer, it is frequently reported in these patients and is often one of the initial symptoms prompting individuals to seek medical attention.

Tumors frequently create new and abnormal blood vessels that can easily rupture, leading to the association of cancer with blood and hemorrhages.  However, bloody urine might be caused by a complicated urinary infection, especially if there are kidney stones associated. In all cases, it is important to rule out every possible diagnosis, including prostate cancer. That’s why it is essential to visit your doctor and run the appropriate tests to rule out possibilities and reach a correct diagnosis.
