6. Low Sperm Volume

Another ejaculation symptom is a reported low sperm volume that’s usually measurable through a sperm count test, which measures the sperm volume as well. Low sperm volume is caused by severe inflammation in the seminal vesicles along with calcification of this vesicular and the sperm tubes. The ongoing injury to these structures would cause them to affect their normal production of sperm.
The seminal vesicle should not be confused with the prostate. Both of them create a fluid that runs through the urethra during ejaculation, but the seminal vesicles have a significant part in the sperm volume because they produce up to 85% of the total seminal fluid. Therefore, a decrease in sperm volume is unlikely to result from a prostate issue; rather, it may be attributed to problems in the seminal vesicles, most likely involving calcification of the glands or metastasis of the prostatic tumor into the sperm tube and seminal vesicles.
