Standing Hamstring Stretch
The standing hamstring stretch is a very basic stretch often done to alleviate hamstring tightness and lower back pain. The muscles all around your lower back, hip muscles, and legs are stretched using this move.
You are supposed to place one leg on a chair or flat surface with your hands on your waist. Your affected leg should be kept straight on the ground. When you bend forward, the muscles of the leg on the ground will get stretched. Hold for at least 30 seconds on one side of the leg and then switch to the other leg.
