It is a unique kind of pain that cannot be compared with others. Often people, who never have experienced this pain confuse their pain with sciatica, but in reality, it is very different and easily detectable when it occurs.

It is a constant dull pain and feels electric-like. The nature of the pain is different but people often tend to misuse the term for a wide range of pains, however, the pain is very specific to sciatica only.
