What Sciatic Nerve Pain Feels Like and When to Treat It

What Are The Symptoms Of Sciatica?

What are the Symptoms of Sciatica?

Radiating pain is the hallmark symptom of sciatica. The pain can vary from mild to moderate and even severe sensations in some cases.

A person might feel numbness, inflammation, and redness around the leg. The legs are prone to getting swollen because of the constant pain. The pain can even get worse if you sneeze, cough, or accidentally move in a jerky way.

Neither prolonged walking, nor prolonged sitting is a possibility because the nerve gets pressed and aggravates the symptoms. Numbness in the foot and muscle weakness is commonly observed in the affected side of the leg.
