2) Genetic mutations:

According to recent literature, the mutation of the TP53 gene is associated with basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. This is a tumor suppressor gene that performs active surveillance and forces cancer cells to undergo programmed cellular death. When this gene is suppressed, the immune system becomes unable to fight skin cancer and facilitates the development of the disease.
