10. Scarlet Fever

It is a highly contagious bacterial infection that affects children and newborns—the infection results in a pinky-red rash that might be harsh to the touch. The rash begins on the chest and spreads to other parts of the body.
Scarlet fever can also cause the following symptoms:
Headache, nausea and vomiting, muscle aches, abdominal pain, red, sore throat, high temperature discolored, rough tongue, and neck swelling.
