9. Sunburn

Sunburn is a frequent cause of red skin and is usually caused by staying too much time in the sunlight without using appropriate sunscreen. UV radiation from the sun damages the skin, causing it to turn red as the body repairs the damage by delivering more blood to the affected area.
Other signs and symptoms include blisters, itching, and skin peeling are all symptoms of tenderness.
Oral vitamin D can reduce the inflammation of sunburn.
