So, you don’t have much time to chop vegetables and take them to the oven for a homemade low-carb pizza, but if you like olives and have them around, you can also take them as an afternoon snack. Olives are great examples of foods rich in vitamin E and other antioxidants. It is also a source of phenolic compounds and flavonoids, each with different functions in the human body. They reduce inflammation and counter free radical damage.

With that in mind, eating a handful of olives is much better than opening a bag of chips. Actually, the effects are the opposite because commercial potato chips are highly inflammatory foods and filled with tons of sodium and other unhealthy ingredients.
