Another cereal high in zinc levels is corn. Both yellow and white corn give you around 2.21 mg of zinc per 100 grams. That is 15% of the recommended daily value. Compared to the fresh food, cornflour contains 1.8 mg of zinc per 100 grams.
Like oatmeal, corn also contains phytates, which compromise the absorption of some nutrients. So, it should be taken as a secondary option to get your daily share of zinc.
