2) Duct Tape

Dr. Jerome Litt introduced the duct tape treaty in 1978. It involves the application of duct tape to the wart directly and removing the video after 6 days. A pumice stone was used to scrub the wart after soaking it in water. The wart was then left uncovered and exposed to air overnight. This cycle was repeated for 6 days for 2 months. 85% of warts were completely removed in the duct tape arm study and 60% in the cryotherapy group.
The host immunity was stimulated by duct tape by causing local irritation caused by the duct tape. There are no reported side effects of duct tape for removing warts, and most warts remove within 1 month of the treatment. This method is cheap and painless to be effective for children.
