Is Salicylic Acid Worthwhile in the Treatment of Warts?

According to the analysis of studies, it has been approved that salicylic acid solution is effective in treating warts. The results appear after usage of three to six months. More than 39 people out of 100 who used the salicylic acid solution had no warts, and 14 out of 100 people got rid of ways and recovered faster. The salicylic acid solution may contain lactic acid and cause skin irritation, but they are usually tolerated. In rare cases, the skin may cause a reaction and become discolored. During treatment filling the upper layer warts with salicylic acid may cause slight discomfort and bleeding.
