Adverse effects of Acetaminophen
In general, Acetaminophen does not pose any strong side effects. One of the reactions this medicine has is the development of allergy or simply an anaphylactic reaction. The symptoms that come up with such an allergy are skin rashes, itching, trouble in breathing, swelling of the face, tongue, and throat, and sometimes even dizziness and vertigo.
A few very rare adverse effects include angioedema, disorientation, hyperammonemia, Stevens-Johnsons syndrome, agranulocytosis, and urticaria. Gastrointestinal hemorrhage, laryngeal edema, nephrotoxicity, and pneumonitis possible but are relatively rare.
