Swelling of the feet
Swelling of the feet is another obstructive symptom of cancer. This time, the tumor is not causing obstruction in the urinary flow, but the blood flow instead. When it grows big enough, the tumor affects the venous return of blood to the heart, and when this happens, liquid starts accumulating in the interstitial fluid and causing swelling of the feet. Swelling can be a concerning symptom in cases of diabetes and liver disease, as well. It may also appear in patients with cardiovascular problems, and you will need to report your symptoms to your doctor to get an accurate diagnosis.
