4) Pityrosporum folliculitis

Red and itchy pustules appear on the thorax and back, as well as the face, neck, arms, and shoulders. A yeast infection is the source of this form of folliculitis. Male teenage and young adult males are the most common victims of Pityrosporum folliculitis. It can be caused by several reasons, including:
- Hot weather and humidity.
- High Sebum production.
- Hyperhidrosis, a condition in which a person sweats more than the ordinary.
- Emollients and sunscreens cause occlusion.
- The use of antibiotics
- The use of topical and oral steroids, as well as HIV, are all examples of immunosuppression.
