3. Berry-Filled Bread

Once again, when you make bread at home, you can control the ingredients and choose the best for you and your children. For this particular recipe, we recommend mixing ½ a cup of whole wheat flour with one and a half cups of all-purpose flour. Add sugar or honey, salt, baking soda, two egg whites, an egg with yolk, sour cream, skimmed milk, and vanilla to give it a pleasant taste. When all of the ingredients are mixed, add a bunch of berries on top and transfer to a loaf pan. Bake for one hour or until it’s ready to serve.
While it is true that this is still bread, it’s much better than the processed options found in the supermarket. It would be a suitable replacement if your kid is addicted to unhealthy snacks and provides many antioxidants he might not enjoy in other types of food.
