4. Peanut Butter Energy Bites

Peanut Butter Energy Bites

Most children like peanut butter, and you can use that to your advantage. These peanut butter energy bites are excellent snack options, and they are versatile. You can add all kinds of ingredients, from whole grain oats to coconut, honey, and even cocoa or chocolate chips. Moreover, this recipe can be saved for later in the fridge without a problem. To make these balls, you need steel-cut oats and rolled oats, shredded coconut, flaxseeds, honey, vanilla extract, and of course, peanut butter.

It is easy to do! Just combine the ingredients and mix them in a bowl. You could leave the flaxseeds and other seeds for later and combine the rest of the ingredients. Then, cover with seeds to give it a different outer appearance. After the mix is done, put it into the fridge for one hour, take it out and make the balls. Then, refrigerate again to make it harder.
