Top 35 High-Fiber Foods to Help Your Digestive Health

21) Orange

Citrus fruits are tasty and full of nutrients. They are popular sources of vitamin C, and most of them contain a lot of dietary fiber. However, you won’t likely eat one lemon with the fibrous inside pulp. You squeeze them into lemon juice instead. Oranges are bigger and sweeter. The pulp is easier to bite, and you’re more likely to eat the white fiber inside the fruit.

You will get around 4.4 grams of fiber in a large orange, and our recommendation is to eat the fruit instead of drinking the juice and pick the last bit of fibrous content, only leaving the peel behind. Most recipes that use orange would tell you to squeeze the fruit, which is not a good idea if you’re after dietary fiber.
