24) Edamame
We can’t have enough beans on the list, and edamame is one of those that will give you an extra portion of dietary fiber. Edamame is basically soy, but they are immature soybeans. They are typical snacks in Western countries and a common food in Asia. You can find them in sushi bars, and they will be available in almost all supermarkets. If you can’t find them, take a look at the Asian food aisles.
You will get around 4 grams of fiber in ½ a cup of edamame beans. These are typical snacks, but you can prepare them in stews, salads, and crispy recipes. You can even join edamame with avocado and prepare a delicious dip along with a few spices.
