Tumor-specific symptoms
These symptoms are more specific to liver cancer. Still, the explanation can be found elsewhere, and you need a doctor to check on you and run a few tests before considering a diagnosis. Liver tumor-specific alert signs and symptoms include:
Abdominal lump
Patients won’t likely feel a lump in the liver because this organ is extensive and located deep within the rib cage. If you’re not overweight, you could feel the borders of the liver if you take a deep breath and take your hands to the inferior edge of the rib cage to your right side. Skilled doctors could not only measure liver size this way but also feel an abdominal lump, especially if the tumor has already grown big enough.
