Malaria; Causes, Symptoms, Prevention & Treatment

3) Malaise

This is one of the most common symptoms people describe in the initial phases of malaria. Symptomatic patients during the incubation period often feel a general malaise, too. It is described as a general sensation of not feeling well, which is not accurately represented.

However, malaise is a mild symptomatic condition that involves feeling slightly tired, with some muscle weakness and sometimes body aches. This symptom is very unspecific, and we can’t diagnose malaria based on general malaise. However, it points out that something is wrong in the early stages of the disease.
