4. Mediterranean Chicken Breasts Salad

Mediterranean Chicken Breasts Salad

You can also eat meat at dinner, for example, Chicken meat with salad. The ingredients of this recipe include Chicken Breasts, red onion, arugula, tomato, black olives, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and parmesan flakes. You will also need lemon juice, oregano, and garlic to prepare a marinade.

You can first make the marinade. Place all the ingredients in a glass jar with a lid and shake vigorously. Then cut the Chicken Breasts into thin slices and season with the marinade. Let it rest for a few hours. The longer the Chicken Breasts soak in the marinade, the tastier it gets. Peel the onion and cut it into small pieces; set aside. Remove the pit from the olives and cut the tomato into medium cubes. Remove the Chicken Breasts from the marinade and remove excess moisture with a paper towel. Brown the Chicken Breasts in a pan and set it aside. In the same pan, add a little oil and sauté the onion, add the olives, turn the ham and stir for a few moments. Finally, mix the arugula and tomato in a bowl with the Chicken Breasts and onion, season with the balsamic vinegar, stir well and add the Parmesan cheese.

Conclusion

There are various recipes in the Mediterranean diet, and they are not difficult to prepare. Moreover, these recipes can be adapted to your preferences, and you can use different ingredients and alternatives if you don’t like one.

Many nutritionists highly recommend the Mediterranean diet because of the numerous benefits it has; however, it is a proven fact that this diet has a disadvantage you must take into account: it is more expensive than unhealthy diets. That is mainly because you are prompted to consume fish such as tuna and salmon in addition to the daily consumption of nuts, many fruits, and vegetables. However, it can adapt to everyone’s pocket.

The Mediterranean diet must be built to your specifications, and its success is guaranteed if followed by the letter. Having a food routine, avoiding fatty and high-calorie foods, and always having fruit and a cereal bar available when you feel hungry between meals will help you complete your goals.
