Carrots
We usually see carrots as a source of vitamin A, but the truth is that it has beta-carotene, which is a precursor of vitamin A. This is also an impressive antioxidant, which is excellent. But you probably don’t know that carrots have much more potassium than bananas. We usually eat bananas for potassium, but they only have 350 milligrams per 100 grams. In contrast, carrots have 2,500 milligrams per 100 grams. Curious, right?
