Bleomycin

It is an anti-cancer drug that is injected into the wart. This procedure may be harmful and painful. It may affect normal cells, such as the loss of nails when bleomycin is injected into the fingers. Bleomycin is an antibiotic, and it is derived from streptococcus verticillus.
It is used for the treatment of reluctant warts. It triggers apoptosis, inhibiting DNA and protein synthesis. It activates acute tissue necrosis in reticuloendothelial tissue and squamous epithelial cells. There are many adverse effects related to the use of bleomycin in pregnant women, immunosuppressed patients, and children. It may trigger pain, burning, and swelling after 24 hours of the treatment.
