9) Night Splint

Night splints are orthostatic devices that are used to help patients who suffer from any kind of deformity of the bones of the joint. Night splints are to be worn at night and they are specifically designed in a way that helps the patient keep his/her ankle in one position. It also functions by stretching the muscles of the calf as well as the plantar fascia during sleep. Therefore, it helps the deformed fascia to heal even during the night.
These night splints are recommended to be used for three months, symptoms have shown to improve in this little time. However, patients who do not feel better can also consider using them for six months.
